June Ash founds Ash Interiors and opens an interiors store on Beresford Street, St Helier

MID 1990s

June moves the business to a Studio in St Mary’s to concentrate on interior design

2002

Sue Harris purchases the company and takes over Ash Interiors

2007

Sue moves the Ash Interiors Studio to Greve de Lecq Barracks

2007-2020

Sue begins the first of many restoration projects for the National Trust, Jersey by designing the interiors for their Georgian town house, 16 New Street

2021

Sue meets Emilia

September 2021

Sue and Emilia visit Morel Farm to commence designing the interiors for the three 17th century buildings on the property

Emilia purchases Ash Interiors

Meet the Team

  • Emilia

    Designer and Owner

    I have been an interior designer for almost a decade and am passionate about creating a design scheme which fits and enhances the way our clients live their lives. Whether you are looking to refresh a few rooms or starting a large project from scratch, I will collaborate with you to fulfil your needs and requirements from concept to completion.

    A bit about me: I was an opera singer in my previous career. I am on the Board of the Ballet d’ Jerri and I am learning tap dancing as well as raising a wonderfully curious 6 year old!

  • Sophie

    Accounts Department

    I am responsible for our accounting department, which includes providing you with quotes for approval and any invoices. I help with VAT and GST matters to ensure smooth clearance through Jersey Customs of any item we procure for you.

    A bit about me: I grew up in Jersey and have worked in the finance and charity sectors both in London and Jersey. I have three children and enjoy playing the piano, cooking and swimming in the beautiful beach coves of Jersey!

  • Suzanne

    Studio Manager

    I will follow-up with you after your appointments with Emilia and provide updates on your project. I liaise with our suppliers and freight forwarder to monitor and expedite your orders and deliveries. I will do all I can to help your project run smoothly as well as ordering any fabric, trim and wallpaper samples.

    A bit about me: I previously worked as an Executive Assistant in Paris and London within luxury goods, film and investment banking. I enjoy speaking French and sea swimming when my young son lets me!
